Christian Aid Haiti appeal exceeds £1 million in six days

Christian Aid are thanking generous donors, including churches in Bath & Wells, for helping them exceed the £1 million mark with their emergency appeal for Haiti.

Nigel Quarrell, West Regional Manager for Christian Aid says, "The tremendously encouraging thing is that our appeal has already exceeded £1 million (including Gift Aid) in less than six days and donations are still flooding in! This is the fastest that any of our emergency appeals has been in reaching this land mark."
