Archdeacons' visitations 2021

All beneficed and licensed clergy, Churchwardens and Chapelwardens in the diocese have been invited to attend the Archdeacons' Visitations for 2021.

Due to the current government restrictions, these are to take place by Zoom, details of which have been sent to all clergy and churchwardens. Attendance is a mandatory requirement for all churchwardens and licensed clergy.

Churchwardens are asked to complete and sign their declaration and return it to their archdeacon by the date of their particular visitation. Clergy and Churchwardens are requested to attend their own Archdeaconry Visitation, but if prevented from so doing, they may attend that of another archdeaconry. If a Churchwarden is unable to attend any of the above services, they should contact their archdeacon.

Readers and other licensed ministers are also very welcome to attend.

There are no Articles of Enquiry this year. If there is anything that you would like to draw to the Archdeacons’ attention, be it a cause of rejoicing or worry, please contact your Archdeacon.
