New bishop for children and young people

A bishop cares for all the people in their area… that includes you, your family and everyone in your school and at your church.

As we seek to find the right new bishop for our area, we are asking children and young people to answer three key questions to help us.

Watch the video below to find out why we want your help and also to find out a bit more about what a bishop does.

We would then like you to take some time to talk about three questions. Either with your family, at your school or in your church group. Think about what you would like to tell us to help those who need to decide who is the best person for the job. You can print off some worksheets below if they would help with your discussion.

When you have your answers, please submit them using our on-line form by Friday, 20 July.

Let us pray

After you have finished your discussion, why not join us in prayer?

Loving God, we pray for those who will be making decisions about the new Bishop of Bath and Wells. We pray that as they listen to others and to You, that
they choose the right person to lead the diocese and its people in the future.
Amen.
