24-hour Wave of Prayer bunting

We are creating a string of prayer bunting for our 24-wave of prayer. You can add your prayer to our bunting or create your own prayer bunting:

Consider what is the change you would like to see in your community, in the country, in the world – in a church service, at a coffee morning, at a children’s or youth group or your summer fete.

Write your prayer on your bunting ‘flag’ – and decorate it how you like.

Create some bunting in your church or setting and put it up over the summer and either keep it up for the diocesan 24-wave of prayer or if you prefer send it us so we can add it to our for the day.

We will be praying for transforming communities and growing churches across our diocese. We are gathering prayers too for our September Diocesan Prayer Calendar - prayers up to 45 words and please forgive us if we edit them! What is the change people in your community would like to pray for? Why not ask them? And what is your prayer for a growing church?

Sign up to a prayer time slot

Across our Diocese of Bath and Wells for the 24 hours from 19:00 on 6 September 2024, we will be praying for transforming communities and growing churches across our diocese. Do pick a time slot that suits you and pray for the change people in your community would like to see or simply pray for your church to grow in numbers, in diversity, and in partnership with your local community.
