Bath and Wells Safeguarding Training in Summer 2025

Before taking or renewing the Leadership course, we recommend revisiting the Basic Awareness and Foundation courses for a reminder of the basics, which can be done online, through the CofE training portal: Home | Safeguarding: Training Portal (cofeportal.org)

Safeguarding Leadership Courses

The standard Safeguarding Leadership course is delivered as two sessions, one week apart. The two sessions are available either in-person at Flourish House, Wells, or online via Zoom.

• 4 & 11 June in-person at Flourish House morning 10:00am – 12:00pm
• 23 & 30 July online (zoom) evening 07:00 – 8:45pm
• 3 & 10 July in-person at Flourish House morning 10:00am – 12:00pm
• 24 and 31 July online (zoom) afternoon 14:00 – 15:45pm
• 6 and 13 Aug online (zoom) evening 07:00 – 8:45pm
• Safeguarding Leadership for PTOs- a one-session tailored course for those with PTO, who have only occasional ministry in church.
• 20 Aug online (zoom) one day 10:15am – 12pm and 13:00- 14:45pm
