Faith & action
Information and resources to help you live out your faith and serve our communities.
We are all part of the fellowship of Christians in Somerset and beyond. As followers of Jesus Christ we are called to listen to his words, follow in his steps and allow him to transform our lives.
We seek to live out the Christian faith in ways that proclaim the gospel and serve our communities through our 496 parishes and 187 church schools.
In this section you will find information and resources to help you live out your faith and serve your communities.
Church of England schools are established primarily for the communities they are located in. They are inclusive and serve equally those who are of the Christian faith, those of other faiths and those with no faith.
To find your nearest church school use the search facility on the Church of England website.
If you would like to know more about church schools in the Diocese of Bath and Wells, visit our Schools section. You will find a host of information and resources of particular use to teachers, governors and children and youth workers.
