What is the role of the priest today? In a changing world and with many changes in the Church, answering that question isn’t necessarily easy and requires prayer and serious reflection. Across the diocese, priesthood is lived out in different ways in different contexts and our concern is that clergy are supported in living out their vocation.
Clergy are encouraged to take seriously their ongoing formation and growth as priests in order to flourish wherever they minister. Information on clergy development opportunities are available on our events calendar and our clergy training section.
In this section you will find information on a range of support for clergy. The sections highlighted below also provide useful resources to help you in your ministry.
