Meet our new ordinands

Petertide ordinations will take place on Saturday 27 June and Sunday 28 June across our diocese. Twelve people are being ordained as priests and six as deacons.

This year the Ordinations of Priests will take place Saturday 27 June, at 14.00 at Taunton Minster and St John’s Church, Keynsham. On Sunday 28 June at 16:00 Kevin Coaker will be ordination to the priesthood at All Saints Weston super Mare.

The Ordination of Deacons takes place on Sunday 28 June at 10.30am in Wells Cathedral.  

Our soon-to-be deacons will be serving in parishes across our diocese, our new priests, who began ordained ministry as deacons last year, will continue to serve their existing parishes as curates.

We pray for all those being ordained, for their loved ones, and all who support them. We pray also for all those who are exploring or responding to a call to serve, in many different forms of ministry, as we seek to follow God’s call together.
