Bath and Wells is recruiting for a new Diocesan Secretary

Bath and Wells is looking to the future as we prepare for Bishop Michael’s arrival in the autumn. We have also begun the process to appoint a new Diocesan Secretary for the diocese.

The Diocesan Secretary is a senior member of the Diocesan Bishop’s staff, and ensures that the mission, the financial sustainability and the strategy of the Diocese, as determined by the Bishop with his staff, the Chair of the DBF, Bishop’s Council and Diocesan Synod, are served by exemplary financial management, excellent administration and people management, and effective governance.

Rosemary Pearce has been with the diocese as the interim Diocesan Secretary since November last year, she leaves at the end of the summer.
