Religious Education (RE) is a vital part of the curriculum, promoting respect and understanding across different beliefs.
Each local authority is required to provide a syllabus for Religious Education (RE) for use in community and Voluntary Controlled church schools. Voluntary Aided church schools and academies can choose to use these syllabi and are encouraged to consult with the diocese when planning their RE curriculum.
