10 New Lay Curates are Licensed

Bath and Wells has 10 new Lay Curates who were liscensed by Bishop Ruth in the chapel at the Bishop’s Palace on Friday. 

They will be ordained Deacon (new reverends being ordained for the first time) in September, but now they are licensed can now begin work in the parishes where they will serve their curacy.

• Mark Alexander McKnight to serve in Curry Rivel with Fivehead and Swell
• Kieron Patrick Rowley to serve in Glastonbury St John and St Benedict with Meare
• Lindsay Rachel Smith to serve in Portishead Team Ministry
• Matthew David Vaine to serve in Bath Odd Down with Combe Hay
