Pilgrim Walk

The meeting place is St Michael's Church, Milverton, Taunton, TA4 1JS.

The Pilgrim Walk will be around four miles in length and it will take 2-3 hours. It will be a gentle walk around Milverton on lanes, fields and public footpaths, with a few stiles to cross, but nothing too strenuous or difficult. The concept of these walks is very simply to take church outside of the church building and to be close to God in his Natural Church, with the trees, flora and fauna all around.

The walk is open to all - those who still enjoy a service within the church building, those who are not too sure about services in church, those who might like to learn a little more about Christianity and Celtic Christianity, and those who would just like to come along for a walk in the beautiful Somerset countryside. You are invited to bring along any poetry, pieces of prose, or short stories. Open and personal prayers are invited. There will be an opportunity to interact, as well as a personal period with silent walking.
