‘Chaplaincy is a vital ministry but exposed to stresses and vulnerabilities the rest of the Church may not have realised. Consequently I’d like to look at the resources we have in our faith, most obviously in God and the vast expanse of God’s love and availability. I hope the day will be practical without being didactic, imaginative without being romantic. I’d be happy if we went away refreshed and encouraged, and with a few new ideas to try out!’
