Bath and Wells has 10 new Lay Curates who were liscensed by Bishop Ruth in the chapel at the Bishop’s Palace on Friday.
They will be ordained Deacon (new reverends being ordained for the first time) in September, but now they are licensed can now begin work in the parishes where they will serve their curacy.
