Ben Goodhind, Safeguarding Manager for the Diocese of Bath and Wells has shared his Easter newsletter for Parish Safeguarding Officers and all those who want to keep up to date with the latest news from the safeguarding team.
In the newsletter Ben shares information about the new centralised telephone system for contacting the Safeguarding team. As the team's roles are complex and busy this new system will ensure that all calls are answered quickly and that enquiries are directed efficiently to the right person. Ben also shares an update on the INEQE audit which takes place over two weeks from 24 March and he has news of the dates for the PSO celebration events which have been planned by Bishop Michael. These take place in May, June and July at Wells Cathedral and the Bishop's Palace. Please do sign up using the invitation all PSO's should receive, it will be lovely to see everyone.
