God calls…everyone, everywhere

In 2022, the focus of our Archdeaconry Days will be on the many and varied ways in which God calls us during our lives.  We will be hearing stories of calling from people across the diocese and reflecting on how we hear God’s call in our own lives.

Sunday 6 February – Launch Online Service – 3pm

We will gather with Bishop Ruth to begin the week with a collective act of worship.

Monday 7 to Friday 11 February

On demand content available exploring calling

Featuring videos from people across the diocese talking about their experience of calling and stories of calling from the Bible.

Saturday 12 February – Online Archdeaconry Gatherings

An opportunity to come together to reflect and celebrate on all that the week has held.

There will be 3 gatherings: 10am, 11.30am and 2pm.

Sign up here to attend the service, receive daily content and to attend one of the Archdeaconry gatherings

The 2022 Archdeaconry Days are part of a wider exploration of calling across the diocese as we consider what it means to be church in the 21st Century. Look out for the Calling Podcast – devised and hosted by young people in the diocese, this podcast will be available from January 2022.

There are some leaflets to download at the bottom of the page. They are designed to help people reflect on how God might be calling them.
