Interfaith Adviser commissioned

Narinder Tegally and friends at the Bishop's Palace

Friends and family gathered at the Bishop’s Palace Chapel on 13 September for the commissioning of the Revd Narinder Tegally as the new diocesan Interfaith Adviser. Bishop Ruth led the service which saw contributions from ecumenical partners, and included a Hebrew reading of the Lord’s Prayer.

On the commissioning of Narinder, Bishop Ruth says, “I am very grateful to Narinder for taking on this role and to see many of our ecumenical partners here today. The role of Interfaith Adviser is an important one. It is not about us coming together and speaking our faith to one another, it is about living out our faith with one another and Narinder will certainly help us journey through that.”

Narinder is a Chaplain for the Royal United Hospital, Bath and an Assistant Diocesan Director of Ordinands for Bath and Wells
