New bishop: have your say!

As part of the process of finding our new bishop, people across the diocese are being asked to share their views. A questionnaire is now available to complete online or to download from the website.

The questionnaire can be completed as an individual or by groups, by clergy and lay people, churchgoers and non-churchgoers so do help us spread the word. Parishes are encouraged to print off copies for anyone who may not have internet access.  Printed copies can also be made available if needed – do phone 01749 670777.

The general consultation remains open until the 20 August 2021 - and it's not the only way to feed in thoughts on a new bishop. In September the Archbishops’ Appointments Secretary and the Prime Minister’s Appointments Secretary will meet with various groups of people in the diocese and then hold an open public meeting (details to follow).
