Youth Hub lauched in Clevedon

A new initiative which allows young people to come together to engage with their faith locally without having to travel miles to do so, has been launched in Clevedon. The joint "Youth Hub" is a partnership of the youth ministries between Christchurch and Clevedon Baptist Church and aims to provide young people with a chance to meet for worship, teaching and prayer.

The vision for this new Youth Church service is to create a space where young people can meet with others in the area and engage with their faith without having to go into Bristol or other larger towns and cities nearby.

Emily Hatton, Youth Minister at Christchurch Clevedon said, “We're excited to be able to bring local young people together to see that there are others of their age living to know Jesus and make Him known in their schools and communities - and to engage, equip and excite them to do just that.

“We're also excited to see how God uses and grows Youth Church as we continue to meet every third Sunday of the month, alternating between Christchurch and the Baptist Church. Of course, the invite is open to all youth leaders and their youth in the deanery and beyond.”

The first Youth Hub took place on Sunday 15 May, a second is planned for Sunday 19 June, all are welcome.
