Following the successful launch of the first Bible Chat Mat’s in March 2020, the Go Team and Education Department is excited to be unveiling 19 brand new Bible Chat Mats! The new series of Bible Chat Mats have been created following a suggestion from Headteachers from across the Diocese of Bath and Wells. We have taken the 19 values that are most commonly used in our Church of England schools and have linked each one to a well known Bible Story. Rev’d Andy Gray, part time Faith Sharing Enabler for Bath and Wells and illustrator, has once again used his incredible gifts and talents to bring the Bible Chat Mats to life.
Series 2 of our Bible Chat Mats is now available to purchase from our online shop as a downloadable pack for £20.00. The Chat Mats are themed around Christian Values. Each Bible Chat Mat includes a Bible story, questions to discuss, things to find and an opportunity to pray and/or reflect.
The Bible Chat Mats can be used in many ways; around a table, sitting in an outdoor space, or curled up on the sofa! Bible Chat Mats can be done as a household, in a school classroom, as friends together, home group or in a Sunday group. The sheets can be coloured and doodled on, allowing you to respond in your own unique way.
