Schools and church leaders are invited to join the 2025 School Leaders and Parish Partners Conference, ‘Creating Welcoming Communities’, to explore together ways to bring about long-lasting change in the area of racial justice.
Whether parish partners are connected to a church or non-church school they are invited to attend the 2025 conference together with their local headteacher. Cheryl Govier, Assistant Director (Education and Leadership) for the Diocese of Bath and Wells says, “As valuable and vital parish partners to our local schools, we would love to encourage church leaders to speak with their head teacher about the conference and then book to come together or identify another suitable parish partner to accompany the head teacher (parish partners come for half-price).”
The day will include interactive key notes from three exciting speakers the Revd Anjali Kanagaratnam, Emily Norman and Elizabeth Olulari. Bishop Michael will also be joining the conference each day. The afternoon will provide an opportunity to join a workshop and reflect together, and there will also be exhibitors.

£25 for Parish Partners (Clergy, Chaplains, Foundation governors for example)
£50 for School Leaders (Headteachers, Exec headteachers, Heads of School and CEO for example)
Payment is per person and includes lunch and refreshments.
