Following the retirement of John Davies as Dean of Wells on 6 January, Bishop Michael has appointed the Venerable Anne Gell, currently Archdeacon of Wells, as Acting Dean of Wells.
Imogen and Jon Ball were joined by family, friends and their church community for this special occasion.
Over 400 people from across the parishes of our diocese, including treasurers, PCC secretaries, churchwardens and clergy, have taken part in a series of Zoom sessions to talk about our finances.
Friends, fun, mud, laughter and plenty of hot chocolate were just some of the things enjoyed by young people from clergy families on their weekend away.

Clergy from across the diocese gathered at the Bishop's Palace this week, to attend the annual Archdeaconry Advent retreat days.
A new A-Z guide for those living in clergy housing is now available on the diocesan website. The guide contains the information needed to clarify the responsibilities of living in a clergy home and to help clergy and their family enjoy their home.
