Reading - Matthew 2:11
On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.
Reflection
The wise men brought gifts to Jesus of gold, frankincense and myrrh. What is the best gift you have ever received?
Prayer
Lord, we thank you for the gifts that the wise men brought to Jesus and for what they represent. We pray for those who won’t receive a gift this Christmas and that they will know that they are loved by you. Amen.
Activity
On the twenty fourth day of Advent:
- Add something that represents gold, frankincense or myrrh to your spiral.
- Make or up-cycle a gift for someone.
