Growing Faith is the movement that seeks to place children, young people and families at the heart of all ministry and mission, so that it becomes second nature for them to be included in every aspect of church life. Ultimately, it seeks to enable children, young people and families to encounter God and develop an everyday faith of their own.
Growing Faith focuses on three spheres which children and young people inhabit – church, household and school – and seeks to bring them to together to help them grow in faith. It is not another project, but rather a new way of thinking in our churches and diocese, to give our children and young people a genuine and meaningful voice.
Growing Faith Conversation Cards
Many parishes tell us that they want to develop their work with children, young people and families and as a starting point we have produced Growing Faith conversations; a set of question cards to help you to celebrate what you are already doing with children, young people and families and consider how you might do things differently. The cards are designed to help your church/benefice/deanery open up Growing Faith conversations and are free to download below. For a hard copy of the cards please contact your Archdeaconry Go Team Adviser.
