The Diocese of Bath and Wells seeks to appoint a self-employed consultant who has the understanding and skills to support us as we seek to make tangible progress on our objective to be a younger, diverse, equitable, inclusive and anti-racist organisation that promotes racial justice. A key part of the brief is to develop an integrated diocesan approach to racial justice and ensure this is reflected in our diocesan strategy, prioritising and supporting healing and reconciliation in our communities.
We are therefore looking to appoint a consultant to undertake a project early in 2025. The consultant will work alongside diocesan staff and engage across the diocese to complete an audit. They will then prepare a report with recommendations, and a strategy with an action plan.
For more details, please see the consultant brief. If would like an informal discussion about this opportunity, please email Julia Hill, Head of Mission Support and Ministry Development.
Notable dates
The closing date for proposals is 12 noon on 30th November 2024 and short-listed consultants will be invited to present their proposals to a panel in Wells on 13th December.
