Synod discussed the vision for the diocese, the Common Fund methodology proposals and heard from Sharon Prentis Deputy Director of the Racial Justice Unit.
Releasing the gifts of all in Bath and Wells will become a lot easier thanks to the introduction of the lay ministry pathway, a more flexible and adaptable approach for those training in different lay ministries, such as Lay Worship Assistant (LWA) and Lay Pastoral Assistant (LPA).
An chance to come together, to pause, reflect and stand in solidarity with the parts of the world where there is conflict, injustice, and unrest.

Emma is passionate about community and is looking forward to working at the heart of the community in All Saints, Weston, Bath with North Stoke and Langridge where she will serve her curacy.
Harry will serve his curacy in the Benefice of Christ Church and St Mary’s, Frome and will continue to run his bookshop alongside his role as a self-supporting minister.

Café Church on Sunday 2 October at St Mary's, Bridgewater was a little different to the usual service. Three girls, aged 8 to 11, were baptised in a hot tub by Revd Suse Osmond, vicar of St Mary's.
