The Anglican Diocese of Eastern Zambia celebrated its 30th anniversary this November at St Paul’s Anglican Church in Chipata.
Haywood Village Church, Weston-super-Mare are recreating the nativity story as a “breaking news” broadcast, performed and filmed by the young group.
We all know the expression ‘Mighty oaks from little acorns grow’ but in Combe St Nicholas in South Somerset, little Lego bricks have perhaps appropriately, been the building blocks of something very special!
The evening at Christ Church in Bath was an interfaith and multicultural celebration, bringing the community together for an evening of sharing food, music, arts and conversation.
This November many churches across Bath and Wells celebrated Safeguarding Sunday, these services can also be held throughout the year. 'Reflections on Safeguarding', a collection of poems about safeguarding written by people from across our diocese is available to download and share.
Wells Cathedral Education Room was packed as people gathered for an inspiring evening about Emperor Haile Selassie I in Bath and Wells: His Journey, His Faith.
Churches across our diocese marked the 31 October in a variety of ways this year, and all shared the light of Jesus with their communities.
In 2018 our community in Middlezoy came together to consider how best to commemorate the anniversary of the end of WW1.
Clergy and lay leaders from across our diocese have been invited to attend this year’s Pre-Advent Retreat Day at Wells Cathedral on Tuesday, 25 November. The speaker for this year’s event will be Cardinal Timothy Radcliffe OP, Dominican Priest and former Master of the Order, theologian, and renowned author and preacher.
More than 150 people from all corners of the diocese attended the Rural Forum in Bagley.

Taunton Minster has been awarded £18,000 as part of a Demonstrator Grant to help it move towards becoming a net zero carbon church.
The artwork is on display as part of a series of Remembrance events and services at the cathedral, marking the 80th anniversary year of the end of World War II.
Church team praised for their dedication to raising funds to pay for the restoration of the monument which was on Historic England’s Heritage at Risk Register.
